Anshe Sfard Synagogue is a family friendly place to worship.  Every Shabbat the congregation welcomes Jewish people, from near and far, who join us for services and become part of our family. Having  services in the setting of a traditional synagogue in the historical uptown section of the city that was once the center of Jewish life in New Orleans is an experience you should not miss.
Shabbat services begin at 9:15 (Hodu at 9:30), and following services, we enjoy a delicious Kiddush Lunch, at 12 PM.

Happy Purim! The wonderful holiday of Purim starts Wednesday night! At 6:30, we will be reading the Megila at Anshe Sfard. Following the Megila, at around 7:15, the entire congregation is invited to join in a joyous Purim march to the home of Paula and Allen - 2409 St. Charles St. The march will be accompanied by music, and when we get there, we will enjoy delicious food, great drinks, and wonderful music!
